Beautiful Lilly is facing the fight of her life.
Born with a rare and life‑threatening Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumour in her liver, Lilly’s battle began long before anyone knew what she was up against. At just 9 weeks old, she became critically unwell, leading to eight exhausting months in Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Those months were filled with major surgery, countless specialist appointments, and unimaginable emotional strain for her family.
On the 10th of January 2026, Lilly was flown from South Australia to Westmead Children’s Hospital in NSW for a planned liver resection. Tragically, mid‑surgery, doctors discovered invasive malignant cancer. The tumour was far more complex and widespread than expected, and the procedure had to be stopped. Lilly now urgently requires a full liver transplant to survive.
She is currently in intensive care at Westmead Children’s Hospital, waiting for a suitable donor match — a wait no child should ever have to endure.
For the past eight months, Lilly’s parents, Ash and Glen, have been unable to work consistently due to the constant hospital stays, medical emergencies, and the need to be by their daughter’s side. The financial pressure has become overwhelming. Bills, travel costs, accommodation, and medical‑related expenses have grown beyond what the family can manage alone.
This journey has turned their world upside down. While Lilly fights with all the strength her tiny body can muster, her parents remain at her bedside, doing everything they can — but they need help.
Your support, no matter the amount, will make a real difference. It will help cover essential living costs (providing for rent and utilities whilst both parents are unable to work), medical expenses (costs of transport and stays at Hospital, medication and treatment, specialist care within and outside the home), and allow Ash and Glen to stay close to Lilly without the added fear of financial collapse (both being off work to be by Lilly's side has taken the most profound effect on them financially). It also means the world to Lilly’s three siblings, who are navigating this heartbreaking time alongside their parents.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is just as appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
I'm Vikki, close personal family (cousin) to Glen (Dad) and second cousin to little Lilly. The GoFundMe will be directly given to Glen and Ash to support them through this emotional time.
Please keep Lilly in your thoughts as she waits for the life‑saving transplant she desperately needs.
