Hi, my name is Latavia , and I'm a single mom to 2 beautiful baby boys , and survivor doing my best to stay strong through something most people can't see

consistent seizures , unexplained health episodes, and constant fear that my body is shutting down .

I've been diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy

(JME), but I continue to have frightening episodes , ones that leave me unable to move, speak, breathe properly, or stay fully present. I often forget they've even happened. I live in a body I can't predict , and I'm trying to raise my babies in the middle of it all.

I've been told I may also be experiencing non-epileptic seizures (PNES), autonomic nervous system issues, and post-trauma complications. But I can't afford the support I need to get full answers or tools to stay safe.

This has been extremely hard . Not only for me but my children ; some friends and family … And now I have turned into doing something that has made always me uncomfortable all of my life which is asking for help..
