Hope for Keith: Red Crosser Battles Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Dean Sweberg, and I have set up this page on behalf of a fellow Red Crosser: Keith Harris.
Keith is a friend and colleague whose dedication, expertise, and leadership have profoundly impacted the American Red Cross and the countless lives it touches throughout his more than 30 years with the organization.
I'll keep this concise: Keith's brain cancer returned this year, and his doctors recently planned and completed surgery in two separate areas of his brain. He is receiving ongoing cancer treatments and navigating a substantial rehabilitation process. Keith has made the difficult decision to retire in order to focus exclusively on his recovery with his family. He hopes one day to have the strength to return to the Red Cross as my volunteer partner - a role I can't imagine anyone filling better than Keith.
The expenses Keith are facing are significant. I ask you to contribute what you can to help out a humanitarian who has dedicated more than 30 years to delivering aid and materials to those displaced by natural disasters. Keith is a well-known and beloved member of the American Red Cross and personally responsible for recruiting, training, mentoring and inspiring hundreds if not thousands of Logistics volunteers from coast to coast.
Keith has two amazing boys who are integral members of our Red Cross family, just as much as they are to his own. When considering how you might support Keith's cause, please know that your contribution will greatly enhance the future of these two as they navigate these difficult times.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
