On April 7th, 2018, Katie's life took a tragic turn when an act of domestic violence left her with life-altering injuries. Despite enduring a failed surgery and numerous doctor visits over the past 5 1/2 years, Katie, a devoted mother of two and a proud United States Navy Veteran, faces another critical surgery on February 28th.
