October is breast cancer awareness month and this year it really hit home!
My name is Marilyn and in July, my daughter-in-law Kathleen was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Ductile Breast Cancer. The oncologists immediately started her on an intense round of chemo. She is currently undergoing her second round, and surgery is scheduled for January. Their deductibles, co-pays, and expenses are topping $15,000 already.
This is in addition to Kathleen and Joel's youngest daughter being born with Turner Syndrome. She had open heart surgery before she was a week old and will be dealing with medical issues her entire life. Eye surgery is scheduled the first of next year, around the same time as Kathleen's.
Here’s how you can help. If you are able, please donate to help offset these ongoing medical costs. Any amount helps and will be a blessing. Please share this either way and above all, please keep this sweet family in your prayers.
