Hope for Kate
My cousin Kate Bruce was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma on April 17, 2020. She has had 2 brain surgeries and is currently undergoing chemotherapy 7 days a week and radiation 5 days a week. When this round of radiation is complete she and her husband will need to find other treatment options as the current facility has stated there isn’t much more they can do.
She is looking into treatment options and trials through City of Hope and UCSF which will require her and her husband to move from their current home in Oregon back to California.
As you can imagine, this is so expensive and money will be a necessity to get her the treatment she needs. Given the aggressive nature of her treatments, neither she nor her husband can work. Their focus needs to be on getting her as much time as they can.
If you have the ability, please contribute what you can. It is greatly needed and appreciated more than you can ever imagine.
Even if you cannot give, please say a prayer forKate and her husband for hope and healing.
We will update regularly on her progress.
