On June 17, our family received the devastating news that Jon has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Jon is my brother-in-law, my husband’s brother, and someone our whole family loves deeply.

Jon is only 38. He is engaged to Beka, and together they have a beautiful 11-month-old son, Harry. They will be getting married on July 6, surrounded by the people who love them most, while facing circumstances no family should ever have to imagine.

The cancer has spread to multiple parts of Jon’s body, and his doctors in the UK have explained that the treatment options available to him are limited. While treatment may help give him more time, it cannot cure the disease.

A UK fundraiser already exists to support Jon, Beka, and Harry through the immediate financial impact of this diagnosis. This US fundraiser has been created for American friends and family who have asked how they can help, with a specific focus on getting Jon evaluated in the United States.

There are treatment options and clinical trials running in the US that are not currently available in the UK. Pursuing those options is incredibly expensive, but we want Jon to have every possible chance to be evaluated by specialists and explore whether any of these treatments could be available to him.

Funds raised may help with specialist consultations, medical testing, travel, accommodation, insurance-related expenses, and treatment costs if an option becomes available.

I will be receiving the funds on Jon’s behalf and coordinating payments directly for US evaluations, consultations, travel, and related medical expenses. This is to help make the process as simple and immediate as possible for Jon, Beka, and our family during an incredibly difficult time.

We know there are no guarantees. But Jon is 38, about to marry the love of his life, and has a baby boy who needs his dad. If there is any chance of finding more time, more options, or more hope, we want to help him pursue it.

Every donation will go toward helping Jon seek evaluation and potential treatment options in the US. If any funds are not used for medical care, travel, or treatment-related expenses, they will be placed into a fund for Harry’s future.

Please donate if you are able, and share this page with anyone who may want to support Jon, Beka, and Harry.

Thank you for standing with our family and helping us hold onto hope.
