Hope for Jill DeVries Quemada

I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend, Jill.

Jill has recently been diagnosed with two types of breast cancer and needs all the love and support we can give her.

With a nine-year-old daughter at home, Jill and her husband Matthew could use the community's support to help get through this. Because of Covid-19, Jill lost her job in 2020. Thankfully she recently got a new job but because it is so recent, she is unsure of what will be covered. This diagnosis has put a lot of stress and fear on her whole family, and any donation would go directly to her treatment costs for her breast cancer and help her family in this desperate time of need. I know this past year has been difficult for so many others, but any donations or prayers would be deeply appreciated for Jill and her family as she continues to fight this.

This is what I am fighting for!

For those of you that don't know - I was recently diagnosed with two types of breast cancer a couple weeks ago. Because I found it myself through self exam, they are early stages but aggressive. I have gone through mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI, genetic testing, and biopsies and now awaiting meeting with the surgeon to figure out the course of treatment.

Please tell your loved ones to do self exams. If you find something suspicious - get it checked out right away. It could save your life!

I ask for prayers of wisdom and guidance as I navigate this. Prayers for the cancer to be eliminated completely and for a treatment plan to begin as soon as possible. Prayers for strength for my family as they are fighting right along side of me!

I am determined to FIGHT hard and beat this cancer...
