Hi! This is my cousin Jason. Jason looks pretty normal, but he has been suffering the loss of the ability to properly use his legs slowly over the past 10 years. He has seen numerous Doctors and Specialists, and endured many tests. Still there is NO diagnosis for this debilitating dis-ease that has slowly robbed him of living a normal life. He fears greatly that it is now moving and affecting other parts of his body.
At 40 years old, Jason requires a cane for balance and stability to preform his daily tasks. That can prove difficult when you are the parent of a lively 5 and 3 year old!! Everyday, Jason lives with constant pain in his legs, cramping and spasaming of his leg muscles. He has lost balance and strength, leaving him with little mobility and extreme fatigue.
After continuously receiving disappointing test results, Jason decided to take his health into his own hands. He tried a variety of different alternative treatments, sadly with little to no success. Along his journey of searching, he came across stem cell treatment. After much time spent learning about this amazing therapy, Jason believes that this could be a viable treatment for him. $35,000.00 is what Jason needs to make this happen!! I wonder, friends and family, if we could all pitch in together and help this beautiful family out by lightening the cost of this medical procedure?
When I first decided to embark on this journey to help Jason, I asked him to provide me with a list of things he dreams of being able to do. This is what he gave me...
"When I get better, I would love to show my girls how to ice skate, ride a bike, fly a kite, and swim. I would love to go hiking and skiing with them. I want to coach their soccer team, play at the park, and go on adventures. I would love to walk and be able to carry one of them on my shoulders. Most importantly, I want to create FUN memories."
As I wiped the tears away, I realized how these are all things I take for granted with my own children.
Keep Fighting Jay!!!!! You Have So Much To Live For!!!!!!!
THANK-YOU everyone, from the bottom of my heart,
Aimee xx
