Hope for Jared - Pay off the Witts’ mortgage!

Rise Above Group, Inc. is raising money for Jared Witt and his family.

As many of his friends and family know

Jared Witt has been fighting an inoperable Glioblastoma, tumor on his brain stem for 5 years now. He is on disability and as you can imagine there are many expenses his family has incurred for cancer treatment, deductibles, ongoing prescriptions, MRI scans, medical bills, travel, home renovations, medical equipment,

and such. When they bought their house they didn’t know that just six-months later he would be needing treatment and to fight brain cancer. We are asking for all those who are moved to give to help us with a “pay the mortgage off” fundraising effort.

Anyone who knows Jared knows that before becoming disabled he was a hard worker on behalf of his wife Amanda Witt and their now 5-year old son. Asking for help is something that he’s not used to doing because he was the person serving others in his career as a director for recovery centers, a worship leader, Emmaus Community volunteer and missionary to Haiti. 

We know how important it would be to Jared to relieve any financial concerns. The health challenges are great and the burden is heavy. This is a vulnerable and personal situation and because of the unexpected extra expenses we are asking for help. The mortgage balance is $116,989.91 to pay it in full.
