Hope for Hutchinson

On 6/27/2018, my daughter, Hailey welcomed her first beautiful baby boy Hutchinson Gannon B into the world.  "HUTCH" was born two months early weighing only 3lbs 9oz.  Hutch has been a fighter from the very beginning, but has faces some complicated health issues which have forced him to undergo several test and procedures.  Hutchinson has now been in NICU for almost 3 months.  His first month was spent in NICU in Monroe La and then he was transferred to Children's hospital in New Orleans, where he continues to receive care.
Hailey is a wonderful mother and has been with him everyday throughout his hospital stay reading stories, kangaroo time,talking to him and singing "You are my Sunshine." She continues to pray and hope for the very best care and opportunities for her baby boy.  Hutchinson has been diagnosed with a rare genetic muscular disorder that was caused by variances in his RYR1 gene.  This disorder affects his muscle tone.  He has hypotonia and issues with swallowing and handling his own secretions.  Recent test (9/11/2018) have shown that Hutchinson has tracheamalacia and may require a tracheotomy.  Tracheamalacia is a collapse of the airway when breathing.  His trachea narrows or collapses and makes it hard for him to breathe.
We have had an amazing experience at the Ronald McDonald house in New Orleans while Hutch is in the NICU.  We have met some awesome families that are using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for their children and have had amazing results with HBOT.  Hailey was told that early intervention is key.  Lucky for us-HBOT treatment is located in New Orleans right down the street.  HBOT has been found to stimulate oxygenation, improve angiogenesis (New blood cell formation) and promote neurogenesis (nerve growth) in the brain.  HBOT is a medical treatment which enhances the body's natural healing process by inhalation of 100% oxygen in a total body chamber, where atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled.  It is used for a wide variety of treatments usually as a part of an overall medical care plan.  It is a simple non-invasive and painless treatment.  This treatment is $9000 for 8 weeks and is Monday -Friday where he would go in the chamber for an hour a day.  
It would be wonderful if we had this kind of money at our disposal, but the reality is that we do not and it's very hard to ask for money.  Hailey is grateful for all the continued prayers and support from family and friends.  We hope that you will be able to help and any amount you are able to contribute to his life will be deeply appreciated.
