As most of you know, our precious Huck was diagnosed in October with Level 3 autism. While this journey has come with challenges, it has also deepened our love and commitment to helping him thrive in every possible way. We are truly blessed to be his advocates.
We’ve recently been given an incredible opportunity: Huck has been accepted into an experimental regenerative medicine program in Jacksonville, Florida, where he can receive stem cell treatments specifically aimed at addressing the areas he needs the most support. We believe this could be life-changing for him—helping open doors to communication, development, and a fuller, more independent childhood and future.
As hopeful as we are, the fact is, this treatment is not currently regulated by the FDA and is not covered by insurance. Each treatment costs $12,500, and the recommended plan is 3–4 treatments. This places a significant financial burden on our family, but we feel strongly that we have been led to this opportunity for a reason. We are so grateful to have family helping us along this journey, and are grateful to have a beautiful community who always offers to help.
We are incredibly blessed to be Huck’s parents. He brings so much light into our lives and has challenged us to see the world in a totally new light. We are committed to doing everything we can to give him the best possible chance to flourish. We are also grateful to have found a doctor who shares our faith, and we trust that God is guiding us on this path.
If you feel led to support Huck’s journey—whether through a donation, sharing this page, or lifting him up in prayer—we would be deeply grateful. We also hope to continue advocating for broader access and awareness so that one day, treatments like this may be more widely available to families like ours.
Thank you for loving Huck alongside us. We truly could not do this without you all.
