Hope for Hope W. (Altadena Fire Victim)

Donation protected
Hope lost her apartment in the Eaton Canyon fires. Hope was the first friend that I made when I moved to LA in 2024 and she is in need of assistance after being displaced due to uncontained wildfires. Hope evacuated her home on Morada Place, a mere two blocks from the Aldi that was shown engulfed in flames live on the news in Altadena, late on Tuesday. She packed as quickly as possible and was unable to take many day-to-day necessities, including clothing and hygiene items. The fires are still burning in Altadena and there is no timeline for when individuals who have been evacuated will be able to return to their homes to assess what, if any, of their belongings remain.

Hope is currently staying with friends, including me, throughout LA County but needs funds to address temporary needs like gas, lodging, and any incidentals. Any donation, no matter how small, will help provide some stability during a time when resources are so scarce.
