Hope Soap Ohio is seeking funds continue to operate and create some changes to grow business and further our social mission after a large decline in sales.
Who we are: Hope Soap Ohio manufactures and sells plant-based and natural skin and hair care products. Through transparency, compassion, purposefulness, sustainability, and diversity, our mission is to create products with high-quality ingredients that cater to all skin types. We also strive to provide those same high-quality products to the local homeless community. We have been feeding the homeless for 7 years and we wish to continue to provide for them as well as employment opportunities and teaching basic skills that they can use in the future.
Facing new challenges: We have struggled to remain open the past few months and are choosing to remain open as we are receiveing help from multiple sources to increase foot traffic and to create a rear entrance where parking is available. We are also fortunate to expand our store located in the Northside Marketplace, but with this location and renovation comes financial challenges.
Financial requirements: We have to create a new entrance way in the rear of our store with signage. We need to purchase some new equipment to create new products with which will create employment in the homeless community. We need to purchase new furniture and fixtures in our expanded space inside the Northside market and unfortunately, we need to catch up on bills that we have fell behind on. All of these things are a part of the plan in place to keep us open!
What we are seeking: The ultimate goal is to increase the amount of support for the Akron homeless community by providing them with job opportunities, training and all the other things that we do and provide through Hope Soap.
Gratitude to be a part of a wonderful community: We love Cuyahoga Falls and the Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Community. It's been our privilege to serve you. We are hoping with this fundraiser to remain open within our downtown location and increase awareness of sustainability and our mission to the homeless and the local community. We also are so happy to be a part of downtown Akron and the Northside Market.
