My name is Gayle Lockwood and I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Heather, and her husband, Kevin.

Kevin has suffered three strokes in the past 3 years, the last of which left him severely debilitated. As they wait for disability approval, their financial situation has become critical. Heather has been by his side every step of the way — managing his daily care, physical therapy appointments, and medications — all while doing her best to keep their household afloat and maintain a positive outlook.

The mounting medical bills, caregiving costs, and rent have become overwhelming, especially since Heather’s ability to work has been limited by her caregiving responsibilities. She’s an executive voice coach who helps people strengthen their voices and confidence from singers to professionals stepping into leadership roles. Recognizing a need to expand her business opportunities, Heather recently invested in a business coaching program to help her grow and create long-term stability. This has been an excellent opportunity but with everything that’s happened, keeping up with basic living expenses is still a struggle.

Our family has done what we can, and her church community has been wonderful, but those resources have run dry. I’m humbly asking for support to help Heather and Kevin stay in their home, cover rising medical costs, and bridge this season until disability benefits come through and Heather’s income steadies.
