Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my beloved aunt, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. This devastating news has turned our world upside down, and what makes it even more difficult is that she has no health insurance.
After her diagnosis, doctors recommended rehab and chemotherapy — treatment that could give her more time. But without insurance, the costs would all come out of pocket. As many of us know, those expenses can be astronomical. With a heavy heart, she had to refuse the treatment simply because she couldn’t afford it.
Now, the doctors are telling us that there’s nothing more they can do. Her body is too weak, and without the proper care and support, her chances are growing smaller each day. We’re watching someone we love slip away not because there isn’t hope, but because access to care is out of reach.
We’re asking for help — any help — to cover medical costs, comfort care, and possibly explore alternative treatments that can ease her pain and bring her some peace in this incredibly hard time. Even just helping take the burden off of day-to-day expenses means more than we can say.
If you can donate, we are so deeply grateful. If you can share this with others, thank you. And if you can offer a prayer or kind word, please know it means the world to us.
Thank you for standing with us.
With love,
Chelsea
