Hope for Healing: Support My Brain & Back Surgery Journey

Hi everyone,
I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d need to ask for help, but life has taken an unexpected turn, and I’m facing a challenging road ahead. I feel like a grfiter and I hate this, as an FYI.

My back surgery was originally scheduled for December 8th — something I’ve been preparing for both mentally and physically. I'm in pain day and night, unable to do the things i used to and at the point where pain management has needed to intervene and is the only thing currently helping me get through the day and be able to function.

During a recent visit to a specialist on 11.12.25, doctors discovered a lesion on my brain. Now I’m scheduled for an IPSS test on December 1st to determine whether the lesion is a tumor on my pituitary gland. If it is, I’ll need brain surgery to have it removed.

Because this suspected tumor is causing my body to produce dangerously high levels of cortisol, going forward with my back surgery right now could put my healing — and my health — at serious risk. This means my back surgery has been postponed until after the brain surgery / tumor issue is resolved. My doctors discussed it and the risks outweight the rewards.

On top of the fear and uncertainty that come with potential brain surgery, while still dealing with the pain my back is causing, this has created a huge financial strain.

My goal was to have at least one surgery this year since I had already reached my max out-of-pocket. Instead, if my back surgery does get postponed, I’m now looking at having two major surgeries next year, new deductibles, and being out of work for AT LEAST 12 weeks and it can be up to 6 months fpr the brain surgery and 3 months for the back surgery. The medical bills, everyday expenses, and the unknowns ahead have been overwhelming.

I’ve been doing my best to stay strong, but the stress, sleepless nights, and depression from everything piling up have taken a toll. Asking for help doesn’t come easily for me — my pride has made this a difficult and extremely reluctant decision — but at this point, I could truly use the support.

How You Can Help

Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward (with breakdown)

-$4000 for current Medical bills incurred in 2025

-$5000 Medical bills for upcoming testing, brain surgery, and back surgery in 2026

- The rest is Basic living expenses while I’m unable to work during recovery and missing my full pay
