Hope for Healing: Support Jamie’s Kidney Cancer Journey

Hi, my name is Aaliyah, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my father-in-law , Jamie.

In April of 2025, Jamie received devastating news: a diagnosis of stage 1 kidney cancer. What began as a few symptoms turned into something no one ever expected—a life-changing battle that has challenged every part of his world.

Jamie is one of the most kind-hearted person you could ever meet. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, cheering on friends, or being the glue that holds their family together, Jamie has always given so much to others. Now it’s our turn to give back.

As he undergoes treatment—including surgery, chemotherapy/immunotherapy, and frequent hospital visits—the medical bills are piling up quickly. On top of that, Jamie has had to step away from work to focus on healing, making everyday expenses like rent, groceries, and transportation incredibly difficult to manage.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

* Medical bills not covered by insurance

* Prescription medications

* Travel to and from treatment centers

* Basic living expenses during recovery
