Hope for Healing: Support Aiden’s IC Treatments

Hi, my name is Aiden, and I’m reaching out with a lot of vulnerability and hope.

Recently, I received heartbreaking news about my health. I have been battling a chronic illness called Interstitial Cystitis (IC)—a painful bladder condition that has completely turned my life upside down. After months of tests, we learned that my bladder is only able to hold less than a quarter of what it should, causing constant pain, discomfort, and severely limiting my daily life.

Living with IC has been isolating, overwhelming, and exhausting—not just physically, but emotionally and financially. I’m now at a point where my doctors are recommending a series of specialized procedures to help manage my condition and hopefully improve my quality of life. These include treatments to calm the inflammation, repair damage, and hopefully give me back some of the freedom this disease has taken from me.

Unfortunately, even with insurance, these procedures are extremely expensive, and the out-of-pocket costs are more than I can handle alone. The added expenses of long-term care, medications, and trying to simply function with a condition like this are heavy and constant.

I am creating this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on healing instead of worrying about how to afford the care I desperately need.

I am fighting so hard in hopes that one day there will be a cure, so that women and men living with this disease won’t have to suffer the way I have.
