Help Stand with Talley! HELP Fight Cancer

This is for my neighbor and friend Talley Anderson. Talley is a nurse, a mother - with a young daughter at home still to raise (she NEEDS HER MOMMA), and wife who is battling colon cancer all while still working (she is the breadwinner) and providing for her family. In 2017, Talley fought a battle with cancer and won! This time, her cancer is a return of that ovarian cancer from 2017 that spread at the time to her colon, bladder, rectum and ureters and was treated. Here she is again now with recurrence in the colon. She been fairly silent about what shes been dealing with since her diagnosis in Dec 2022 - as a nurse, her heart is in taking care of others and helping them, but I know for a fact that SHE could really use some help. She has been getting more and more tired, the exhaustion is over the top, no time to take off as she cannot miss work and support her family! This has caused increased anxiety about ALL of the consequences that come along with cancer. The down time for surgery, bills, copays, scans, oncology appointments, and treatments. Time off work is incredibly difficult. If anyone can help in any way this would be a great help to her and her family. She will need some help as she will be trying to maneuver treatment and time off work etc. and not to mention that she has so much on her plate at both work and home and continues to always show up. She has a 12 year still who needs her Momma. Please help how you can. Every dollar counts.

Update: 6/15/2024 - Talley endured a near fatal seizure and collapse and was transported to Forney ER where she thought she just fractured her back in a significant collapsing fall where she also hit her head and was knocked unconscious. When she came to and was able to let her husband know, he got her to the hospital. After many X-rays and labs work, EKG - everything started to unravel and she began to have chest pain. She needed MRIs that were not available at the hospital in Forney so she was transferred to Rowlett. There they did many more scans and heart tests etc. before being diagnosed with a small heart attack, a compression fracture in her neck, multiple herniated discs in her lower back, adrenal insufficiency which resulted in adrenal crisis (which can be fatal) and multiple other conditions including several new lesions that were found on her spinal cord in the cervical (neck) region.

If you can imagine the amount of expenses incurred with these treatments and three hospital stays plus ambulance transfers, I know she could definitely used help with finances, and medical bills as well as time off work. 

Please consider helping any way you can. Your love, prayers and donations could make a world of difference to her and her family in this trying time. 

Also to note, Talley’s conditions on top of the cancer - she has been encouraged to get a medical alert system that would detect if she had another syncopal episode or seizure (which she also has been having) while driving or away from home.

She has been told to also get a medical service dog. If you know of anyone that has a connection to a working dog such as a golden retriever that is the next step in making sure she remains safe while fighting this battle. All of this said these things are expensive. Please find it in your heart to donate. Please keep her and her family (her children) in your thoughts and prayers and anything anyone can help with please find it in your heart to do so.
