In 2010, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In 2014, my life changed drastically after a severe relapse left me in a wheelchair for an entire year, requiring 24/7 care. I was told I might never walk again. But I refused to give up. Through my faith in God, the love of my family and friends, and relentless determination, I pushed forward. I committed myself to therapy, exercise, lifestyle changes, and countless doctor visits. Step by step, I progressed—from a wheelchair, to a walker, and now to occasionally using a cane.
This journey has not been easy. Over the past year, my health has become more complicated. I am now facing worsening MS symptoms, including extreme exhaustion and severe leg pain due to the foot drop on my left leg. Daily tasks have become more difficult, and I feel my mobility slipping away again. After much research, prayer, and guidance, I have decided to pursue a stem cell transplant. This treatment offers hope—a 75% chance of improving my mobility and giving me a better quality of life. However, this procedure is not FDA-approved and is not covered by insurance. I have found a reputable clinic in Tijuana that specializes in this treatment, but the cost is significant and must be paid out of pocket.
I am asking for your help. Any donation, no matter the amount, will bring me one step closer to this life-changing procedure. If you’re unable to give, sharing my story or keeping me in your prayers means just as much to me. I truly believe this is my next step toward healing. I have faith that I will not only regain strength but continue to move forward with purpose, resilience, and gratitude. Thank you for being part of my journey and helping me and my mom fight for my future.
