Hello, I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Hayley. Hayley has been battling GIST, a rare and inoperable form of cancer. All other treatment paths have failed, and the tumors are metastasizing. As of right now, there is only one path forward, and that is to try an experimental mRNA treatment out of Houston from MD Anderson. It is about a 4-hour trip to Houston per treatment, so the GoFundMe would also help with travel expenses. The treatment has a 50% chance of being effective; however, the treatment is not covered by Hayley's insurance. This GoFundMe is for the specific purpose of funding the experimental treatment for at least a year to attempt to slow or stop the growth of the tumors. We hope you consider helping her.
