December 10th, 2025:
First and foremost, our family cannot thank you enough for your incredible support thus far. The way the community has rallied behind Haydn has left us in awe.
Since September, Haydn has completed 12 weeks of palliative radiation for his brain tumor. The goal of this treatment is to shrink the tumor slightly to help with symptoms like pain and seizures, but it doesn’t cure the cancer or significantly extend life. We were grateful to see a few millimeters of shrinkage, but this kind of radiation can only be done once.
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has told us there are no additional treatments they can offer, and we know that without further treatment, time is limited.
That being said, anyone who knows Haydn knows he’s a fighter, and he isn’t giving up. We are now raising funds for the only remaining treatment option available to him: an alternative treatment in Texas.
Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance. Between the costs associated with travel, lab work, the surgery to install the port, MRIs, and the medications involved in the treatment itself, we need to raise a total of $150,000. We know this is a significant amount, but every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to getting Haydn this treatment.
We are so grateful to each of you who continue to support Haydn. Every donation, every share, and every prayer has made a real difference for our family, and we cannot thank you enough. We are holding onto our faith and believe that with God's help, this treatment can give Haydn the miracle we're praying for.
September 12th, 2025:
Haydn recently received the devastating news that he has DIPG, a rare and aggressive brain tumor and form of brain cancer on the brainstem. Doctors have shared that with DIPG, there is only a 10% chance of living two years. Haydn is the best dad I know, and is focused on fighting this while making the most of every moment with his 3-year-old daughter, Kinzlee.
Doctors are exploring treatment options, including radiation. While we pray for God's miracle, we also want to be realistic and prepare for the financial challenges ahead. Medical expenses, time away from work, and day-to-day needs will place a heavy financial burden on Haydn. Your support will help him manage these costs during this difficult time.
A large part of Haydn’s peace of mind comes from knowing Kinzlee will be supported in her future. He is an incredible father, and the thought of her being cared for as she grows into adulthood means the world to him. Any funds not used directly for treatment and expenses will be placed in a compounding interest trust account for Kinzlee, providing her with stability and resources when she turns 18.
With your help, we can surround him with the love, care, and resources he needs to fight this battle and give him comfort in knowing Kinzlee's future is secure.
Please share this campaign with anyone who might want to help, and keep Haydn and Kinzlee in your thoughts and prayers as our family navigates this difficult time.
