Hope for Hannah: Help Us Overcome Her Brain Tumor Diagnosis
Story:
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,
We come to you with heavy hearts and hope-filled spirits, seeking your support for our beloved Hannah Goulet, who is bravely battling a recent brain tumor diagnosis. Hannah is not only a cherished mother, wife, daughter, friend, and CNA but also a source of light and inspiration to all who know her.
The Diagnosis:
In July, Hannah began experiencing occasional migraines, nausea, and dizziness. On Friday, 8/2/2024, Hannah woke up with unbearable symptoms, and went to the emergency room at Amery Hospital to get evaluated. After a series of tests and scans, they received the devastating news that she has a brain tumor roughly the size of a golf ball. Hannah was then transported to Regions Hospital to prepare for surgery to remove the tumor. The diagnosis has been shocking and while the focus has been on staying positive and fighting this tumor, we know the financial stress of this situation is in the back of their minds as well.
The Battle Ahead:
Hannah is scheduled for neurosurgery at Regions Hospital on Monday, 8/5/2024. Following the surgery, the doctors will perform testing on the tumor to determine cause and to be sure that it is benign. While the medical team is optimistic, the road to recovery will be long and trying at times, with restrictions that will impact her ability to care for her daughter and do daily tasks. Hannah's family is committed to standing by her side every step of the way, but the financial burden of her treatment is overwhelming.
Why We Need Your Help:
The costs associated with Hannah’s treatment are likely going to be substantial. From hospital stays, surgery, travel to and from the cities for Matt and Annabelle, medications, and continuing brain scans to ensure reoccurrence does not happen, the financial strain is significant. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover these expenses and ensure that Hannah can focus on her recovery and family without the added stress of financial worries.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your contribution will directly support Hannah’s medical expenses and help ease the financial burden on her family.
