Hope for Hannah: Help Hannah Fight Her Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, our names are Kyla Cadieux, Nolan Braaten, and Kaiya Sierra, and we are starting this GoFundMe for our incredible friend, Hannah Herrlinger. Hannah is a vibrant 22-year-old who has always loved working out, traveling, being around friends, and sipping her favourite coffee. She was training to become a firefighter—a dream that matched her strength, determination, and heart. For years, Hannah suffered from debilitating migraines, often dismissed as "just headaches." But at the beginning of 2025, everything changed. Her symptoms worsened to the point where she couldn’t get out of bed. A CT scan revealed a massive brain tumour, and within just 2 hours of getting an MRI, she was rushed into emergency brain surgery.
Since then, Hannah has been diagnosed with sarcoma cancer. Her tumor is so rare that doctors are still working to fully understand it. She now faces 6 to 8 months of chemotherapy and radiation. Hannah can't work, and her mother—who lives with MS—is also unable to work. Her father, the sole provider for the family, will need to be home to help care for her during treatment.
On top of everything, Hannah has always dreamed of becoming a mother one day. But due to the nature of her treatment, she now faces the urgent and emotional decision to freeze her eggs—a procedure that costs over $10,000 and is not covered by insurance. It’s heartbreaking that this is even something she has to think about at just 22 years old. This is not something anyone her age should have to face.
Hannah is one of the kindest, bravest, and most selfless people you could ever meet. She has always shown up for others, offering love, support, and light wherever she goes. Now it's our turn to show up for her.
Please help if you can—every donation, every share, and every bit of love matters more than we can say. Thank you for supporting Hannah and her family through this unimaginable time.
