Welcome to Hanna’s Hope
Hi, I’m Emma, Hanna’s sister, and I’ve created this page with Mum to share Hannas story and, together with you #TeamHopeForHann_l, lead our fundraising journey
This is Hanna’s story and why we’re fighting hard in 2026: In March 2021, Hanna was diagnosed with breast cancer after routine screening due to being #brca1 positive.
She had two tumors in her left breast:
• Tumor 1: Grade 3 ER0 PR0 HER2 Negative
• Tumor 2: Grade 3 ER Negative PR0 HER2 Positive 3+
She went through months of chemotherapy, a bilateral mastectomy, radiotherapy, and oral chemo. Treatment finished and life moved forward; she had the most amazing few years. We went to Disneyland, she renovated her dream home, made memories, and lived with the hope that cancer was gone for good!
But in October 2025, after a cough that wouldn’t go away, Hanna received devastating news:
➡️ The cancer was back
➡️ It had spread to her lungs and mediastinal lymph nodes
➡️ Diagnosis: Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) - PD-L1 Negative, BRCA1 +
Hanna’s cancer is now stage 4 and the NHS treatment options are palliative. After doing our research we have found treatments the NHS cannot provide - options that could offer more hope.
That’s why we’ve launched HopeForHann_l Our 2026 Plan:
✅ 12 months, 12 challenges
✅ 50% of funds to cancer charities
✅ 50% to Hanna’s treatment
✅ Raising awareness
