HOPE FOR HAILEY WEAVER

If you know anything about the Weaver family, you know they are some of the most generous and kind people you could ever meet! Sometimes life deals some pretty unfair hands, Hailey is a fighter and needs our help!

We really need your help right now!! Hailey has been fighting RSD for over 2 years now. Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) is also called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It is a rare chronic pain disorder that can begin and spread from a minor injury or event. Hailey's started from a minor injury during volleyball training her Freshman year of High School. She never even got to play a single game at the High School level. Her RSD for the most part was localized to the area of her injury(right leg from the knee down). She spent a month at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for "treatment" last year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was not successful. For some unknown reason her RSD is deciding to spread (which it is known to do). She is now impacted from the waist down in both legs. This happened 2 weeks ago out of the blue. There is no cure for RSD, but there is HOPE. We are seeking treatments at a special clinic in Florida. These treatments are the only known means to improve her quality of life and function. Insurance will cover some of the costs but not all. We are reaching out to friends, family and others who might be able to help us. Our need is financial. We wanted to do a pig roast fundraiser but we need to move quicker than that can be accomplished. We are asking, if you feel led, to make a donation to help with her medical care and travel expenses.
