Hope for Hadaway: Our dedicated teacher in need!

Hi! My name is Vivian and I am setting up this fund in honor of my friend. She would be the last one to ask for help, so I’m doing it for her. I’ll call this Hope for Hadaway!

My friend, Melissa, is a teacher in Jones County and was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Of course, she didn’t want anyone feeling sorry for her and has been waging a battle against this monster. We all know the financial burden this can put on the person with cancer and the family they are trying to take care of. Up until this point, she has used her sick leave to take care of that burden. Now, all of that sick leave is gone and so is the income. This is a person who shows up early to work, stays late, and puts her all into each and every student. I know she has touched many lives in our area, probably some reading this. She is also very private and doesn’t want much, except prayers.
