If you know my dad, you know he is the kind of person who fills a room with joy. He is immensely kind, giving, funny, and above all, a man of deep faith. Recently, our family received the news that no one is ever prepared for: Dad has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma.

Because of vascular involvement (the tumor is near major veins), he is currently undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the mass.

Our specific prayer and goal is for the tumor to pull away from those veins so he can become a candidate for the Whipple procedure—a surgery that offers a true chance at survival.

While he fights with everything he has here in the States, we have found a door of hope in Germany. He has been accepted to receive Dendritic Cell Therapy, a cutting-edge immunotherapy that uses the body's own immune system to target and destroy cancer cells. This technology is not yet available here, but it could be the very thing that gives him the edge he needs to win this battle.

Being on a retirement income, the costs of international travel, specialized medical treatment, and extended stays in Germany are far beyond what my parents can navigate alone. We want their only focus to be on healing and this fight—not the weight of mounting expenses.

We are leaning first and foremost on our Heavenly Father. He has led us this far, and we believe through faith that He will get us to Germany. If you are able to help, here is how:
