Help Save Gabriel Izan: A 5-Year-Old Fighting for His Life
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
With a mother’s heart full of love, hope, and desperation, I humbly reach out to you today to ask for your prayers and support for my precious son, Gabriel Izan, a brave 5-year-old boy from the Philippines who is fighting Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS)—a rare and life-threatening immune disorder.
This journey has been unbearably painful. I have already lost two sons to similar blood disorders because doctors were unable to diagnose them in time. My eldest passed away at just 11 months old due to severe bleeding, and my second child died at 2 years and 11 months old due to a brain hemorrhage caused by dangerously low platelets. Their deaths shattered me, and I was left without answers—only heartbreak.
When Gabriel was born, history began to repeat itself. Frequent illnesses, persistent infections, and unexplained symptoms led us on a desperate search for the truth. After years of uncertainty, doctors finally confirmed that Gabriel has WAS. This diagnosis gave us clarity, but also a painful reality—his only hope for survival is a bone marrow transplant, a procedure that is not available in the Philippines.
Despite the overwhelming costs, we have done everything possible to give Gabriel the care he needs. My husband works overseas to provide for our family, and I dedicate every moment to my son’s treatment. But we cannot do this alone. Gabriel needs urgent medical intervention, and we are seeking help to bring him to a specialist who can provide the life-saving transplant he so desperately needs.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support. Our child has been diagnosed with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome, a rare and serious immune disorder that requires specialized medical treatment - Bone Marrow Transplant.
After many consultations and research, we have decided to travel to the United States to seek the best possible care and life-saving treatment. This journey is necessary, but ut comes with a huge financial burden - from medical expenses to travel, accommodation, and ongoing care.
We are doing everything we can, but we can't do this alone. We kindly ask for your help - every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to giving our child a chance at life.
We are humbly asking for your help—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing Gabriel’s story. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to giving Gabriel the future he deserves—a future where he can run, play, and grow up like any other child.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to us, and we believe that with God’s grace and the love of compassionate people like you, Gabriel can be saved.
Please help us fight for his life.
With gratitude,
