Hello, everyone! My name is Thao and I am the face of Yumi Hae on Instagram, a local creator based in New Orleans. One of my closest friends' mom is a Special Needs teacher and she is calling for help for her students that were affected by ICE during this Christmas season.

This Christmas looks very different for several families in our community. Recent ICE actions have shaken their lives overnight, parents separated from children, homes suddenly left without income, and families who were already struggling now facing fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty.

While many of us are gathering with loved ones, these families are simply trying to make it through each day. No one should have to choose between buying food, keeping the lights on, or giving their children even a small gift for the holidays. Yet this is the reality they’re facing right now.
