Hope for Everleigh
Everleigh Gene Ramos was born on February 13, 2020 at 23 weeks/6 days gestation weighing 1 lb 10 oz. She is welcomed into the world with abundant love and has faced many challenges already, including respiratory problems and diagnosis of a significant brain bleed. As of 2/21 she was airlifted from Tri-Cities to Seattle Children’s Hospital to potentially undergo placement of a cranial reservoir to drain ventricular fluid and relieve pressure on her brain. She has given us glimmers of hope wiggling her little arms and legs, trying to open her eyes and doing a great job taking in lots of mama’s milk so she can grow big and strong!
As you can imagine, this journey has been filled with many tears and challenges. When this happens to your baby, it is seemingly impossible to even think about doing anything but being right by her side. So many of you care so much about Everleigh and her amazing parents, Lindsey and Oscar, and the best thing we can do right now besides pray for them is raise lots of money so they can fully invest in Everleigh and each other. Significant expenses for the family include NICU/surgical bills, housing, transportation, trips between Seattle and Pasco (money for plane tickets/rental cars would reduce wear and tear on family vehicles!) food on the go, gas, Seattle-related expenses like tolls and parking, and personal items to keep Lindsey and Oscar healthy and taken care of. Let’s show this precious family the love of God as they have lived their lives to show His love to us. We are believing for a miracle for Everleigh!
***$10,000 is just a number I put in because I had to put in a goal, but I believe we can far exceed that! NICU stays are unspeakably expensive so let’s aim high!***
Thanks so much,
Megan (Everleigh’s auntie)
