Help Emily with a Life-Changing Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping my brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Emily Peebles. Emily has been bravely battling an aggressive and rare condition called Giant Cell Tumor (GCT) for the past three years. Despite undergoing two previous surgeries, the pain has remained relentless, but we are one step closer in her journey towards recovery. Now, she has been given a chance to undergo a groundbreaking procedure with a world-renowned doctor, but this opportunity comes with significant medical and travel costs that they need help covering.

In the past three years, Emily has undergone two major surgeries. The first surgery was to remove the aggressive tumor that was eating the bone in her arm. The doctors used plates, screws, and cement to hold her wrist together, but this left her in unrelenting pain on a daily basis and she lost much of her arm mobility.

In an effort to alleviate the constant pain, she underwent a second surgery to clean up the area and sever several of her nerves, but unfortunately, it did not bring the relief she had hoped for. As a result, Emily continues to live with daily pain and limitations on her life.

After years of praying for a solution, we have new hope. A world-renowned doctor has offered a solution that could change everything for Emily. This surgery, which involves using cadaver bone to rebuild her arm, could finally restore her mobility and relieve her from the unyielding pain that has impacted every aspect of her life. However, this surgery is not available locally. They will need to travel from Florida to South Carolina to receive the procedure which brings additional costs for medical bills, travel, lodging, and other expenses.

With three surgeries in three years, Rob and Emily have already faced significant financial strain. This surgery gives hope for returning to a normal, pain-free life, but it comes with costs that are difficult to manage alone.
