From Dreams to Diagnosis – Ebby’s Unexpected Journey
Ebby came to Sydney with hopes as big as the city skyline. A bright and determined 33-year-old international student, he dreamed of building a better future through education and hard work. But suddenly life took an unexpected turn.
Shortly after settling in, Ebby was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer)—a diagnosis that changed everything in an instant.
Now undergoing intensive treatment at Westmead Public Hospital, Ebby’s life has been put on hold. His parents flew in to be by his side, providing emotional strength and care during the toughest time of his life. But with no income, no extended family here, and mounting responsibilities, Ebby is facing serious financial strain.
What He Needs:
Ebby’s treatment is expected to last around 8 months, during which he will not be able to work. He urgently needs support to cover:
- Rent and living expenses
- Food and daily needs for him and his parents
- Medical-related costs not covered by student insurance
- Transport and care essentials during treatment
How You Can Help:
Your contribution—no matter how small—can make a life-changing difference. It will not only relieve Ebby of the financial burden but also give him the peace of mind to focus on healing and recovery.
Let’s show Ebby that even far from home, he is not alone.
Please consider donating and sharing his story.
Together, we can turn a painful chapter into one of hope, healing, and humanity.
