Hope for Dulce ❤️

Hi, my name is Britney and I am raising funds to help pay for Dulce’s medical bills. Dulce is my family and I’s beloved fur baby who has been in our family for over 12 years. Unfortunately, from night to morning, Dulce became ill. After taking her to several veterinary visits and after several studies and dreadful days of awaiting results, we were finally informed of what was going on. We were told that Dulce was in need of an emergency surgery as studies showed a varicocele on her gallbladder which could erupt and lead to sepsis. We were given the options to either put our fur baby to sleep as doing nothing would lead to death or to give her a chance by finding a surgeon willing to operate. We immediately knew Dulce deserved a chance as she has always been a fighter. Despite being given a poor prognosis, we decided any chance at all would be the best decision. We were told that her gallbladder had already ruptured but despite this, Dulce made it through the surgery and is currently recovering. Because this is such a delicate matter, she requires around the clock emergent care so she is being cared for at our local animal hospital. We are hoping for the best and praying our sweet Dulce makes it out of this difficult time. Our current hospital bills exceed $6,000 not including everything spent prior to the hospitalization and are only expected to increase.
