Hope for Dad: Ramp & Rehab Support

I’ve never done one of these, but I feel now is the time to try. I am doing this for my dad who this week fell at home and broke his hip. He is 85 years old and lives on a limited income. He has been hospitalized this week and has been transferred to an inpatient rehab for several weeks. There are obviously a lot of associated costs with this injury. This has not only affected him physically, but in lots of other ways, and he is not currently able to pay his bills, which we are taking care of right now.. what I’m on here to ask for is help with the cost of building a wheelchair ramp on his house for when he comes home from rehab as he will be on a walker at best from here on out. he also has a bulk propane tank for his home heat that I am needing to buy propane for minimum cost for them to deliver that is close to $500 for 100 gallons of fuel there will be medications and other things, obviously that his Medicare will not cover. We are doing everything we can for him at the moment and will continue to do so, but we are already stretched thin just trying to live our normal life day-to-day. I don’t like doing this so I’m asking please keep your judgment to yourself if you can’t help with a few dollars, I completely understand, but at least please pray for our family as this is very stressful on everyone. this man, if you know him, you know all his life he would absolutely give the shirt off his back for anyone and do anything at any time day or night if they needed him and he’s always been there for me from day one and I am giving all I can. I have never asked anyone on here for anything like this and believe me when I say it’s perfectly fine if you can’t give anything I just needed to try to see if I could relieve some of the burden if possible please pray that rehab goes well and he’s able to start moving around on his own as of right now he can’t stand up or move on his own at all. So again, this is just to help with cost of a wheelchair ramp, buying some propane for heat for his home and any associated costs with this injury that comes out of pocket that Medicare doesn’t cover, which we already seeing will be quite a bit. I’m not asking to cover everything. Just trying to get a little assistance for this burden that we feel at the moment only if you feel led to do so in your heart.
