Cooper is a sweet doodle puppy who has already faced more challenges than most dogs his age. He’s almost a year old and has spent much of his young life feeling scared and confused. His mom, who loves him dearly, has been in and out of the hospital, which means Cooper has often been passed from one home to another. This time, when she needed help, Cooper had nowhere to go and arrived with us in pretty rough shape. He clearly lacked consistency in his excersise routine based on energy and fitness level, his coat was matted and dirty, and it was clear he hadn’t received the training or attention he needed. We aren’t sure what kind of vet care he’s had, but he came to us unfixed, without heartworm prevention or testing, and with an unconfirmed vaccine records that even so will likely expire soon based on his age and typical vaccination ages.

Despite all he’s been through, Cooper is gentle and loving. We want to give him the chance to feel safe and secure, and to finally have a place to call home. The funds raised will go directly toward providing Cooper with routine vet care, including spay/neuter costs, vaccines, heartworm testing and prevention medication. We’ll also use the funds for grooming to help him feel comfortable again, and for ongoing food costs so he can stay with us and get the stability he needs. and to take any stress off his caring mother during this hardship.
