Hello, my name is Sophia. I’m representing our family in support of our cousin Chae. He was recently diagnosed with complete liver failure and has been in the hospital ICU, fighting for his life. He is sedated and received blood transfusions so far. As far as we know, the doctors said he has a 50% chance of survival from this ordeal and if so- maybe several months afterward. We are doing everything we can in our power in hopes of a second chance- because I know he would do that for us and more. We are talking with hospitals in regards to getting eligible for the transplant list, and once we get there, to help with the astronomical costs that comes with it.

For those that know and knew him- he is one of the most goofiest, funniest, and endearing guys I know. He may have struggled with alcoholism like many in our family- so it’s hard to sit here and see our loved one go through the most severe aftermath of this disease. He is still so young with much more life and joy to give around him. We appreciate any and all types of support, through prayer, positive thoughts, and donations to ease the family’s burden. We will try to keep you updated as much as we can!
