Bella is a 10-year-old senior dog I recently adopted, and even though her life before me wasn’t easy, she still greets each day with gentle eyes and a wagging tail. She’s been through a lot, but I believe her best days can still be ahead of her — she just needs a little help to get there. Bella is dealing with some serious health issues: she has dental disease and needs teeth removed, one of her eyes is too damaged to save and needs to be removed, she has a lump on her nipple that needs to be tested, and because she was never spayed, she’s at risk of a life-threatening infection called pyometra.

Through it all, Bella remains so loving and resilient. She deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort, safety, and peace — and I’m committed to making that happen for her.
