Hope for baby Charlotte

Hello, my name is Melissa and I have started this fundraiser to provide financial support for my sister and her family during an extremely difficult time.

Charlotte Rose was born on 9/9/21 and was expected to be perfectly healthy, according to the prenatal care and multiple ultrasounds that my sister received for the duration of her pregnancy. Unfortunately, at her birth, it was discovered that she has several genetic birth defects. She was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot and a very rare defect called Heminasal Aplasia (only about 80 known cases).

Although no one can ever truly be prepared for something like this, we had no prior knowledge of what was to come. My sister, Ashley (Charlotte's mother) is still recovering from her labor but is remaining strong and optimistic for her little girl.

Ashley and her husband Andrew have two other children and are amazing parents. Baby Charlotte couldn't have a more loving family and she deserves to have her parents with her as she fights for her life. The purpose of this fundraiser is provide financial support for them; not only to assist in paying for medical costs but to cover their basic needs so that they don't have to endure the added stress of making the monthly bills.
