Hope for Ayme

Ayme Mirando Corrillo really needs your help! Two years ago, after coming home from a church service mission in Uruguay, Ayme (of Bolivia) was diagnosed with Leukemia. While being treated, she married the love of her life, Carlos, and he strengthened her through her first round of cancer. Now, she has been rediagnosed with cancer and in order to be healed and grow old with her husband, she requires a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. Bone Marrow transplants are very expensive and are not available in her home country of Bolivia. After paying for her current treatments, her family can not afford to send her to another country or pay for the treatment.
By donating, you would be helping Ayme travel to another country, pay for her medical bills, and get the medicines that she needs.  We want her to get this treatment as soon as possible, so we would ask that you please donate, share this page, and pray for her.
Ayme is a faithful, amazing, and selfless young woman. She served as a missionary with all her heart, without complaint, as she unknowingly suffered from cancer. She has touched so many lives and has such a big heart! I served alongside her as a missionary and she was such a great example to me. She taught me how to love more and how to put others first. She really is filled with Christlike love! She has been fighting this cancer hard and with faith in Christ. She has been so blessed to receive so much help and love from her community and family. She has blessed my life and we have a chance to bless hers.
Even in her time of great trial, she still strives to lift others and help anyone with whom she comes into contact. This is what she has to say about her situation: (*Translation underneath*)
- Ayme Miranda Corrillo

"Well, as many of you know, I have been fighting cancer for the past two years, and there have been moments that I did not want to keep fighting because of the pain and suffering that chemotherapy has caused. However, I began to recover thanks to my loving family, my beloved husband, and the support of all my dear friends.  In spite of all this, we recently discovered that the cancer returned. I truly am not scared. Today, I trust more in God and His miracles than ever before. The path will not be easy, but I have been given another opportunity to overcome this disease. We all have heavy burdens at different points of our lives and this is mine. Still, I know that my burden will be made light through the help of my Savior Jesus Christ. I have no doubt that He LIVES and He knows how to comfort each one of us." - Ayme Miranda Corrillo

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we would really appreciate any help you can offer, whether that be a donation, praying for her well-being, or just sharing this with your friends.

I am sharing this as a close friend of Ayme's, someone who served with her in Uruguay and knows how truly special she is.
