‏Hope for Aya: Restoring Health and Reuniting Family

Donation protected
I'm Ghadeer Eid, established this fundraising campaign to help provide my sister Aya with financial support to travel with her family to Egypt for medical treatment there.

Aya, a 31-year-old Palestinian woman and dedicated psychologist. Three years ago, she met Amjad, and together they built a life filled with love and hope. Their joy knew no bounds when Aya became pregnant,

but their dreams were shattered by the horrors of war. During the early months of her pregnancy, Aya endured unimaginable hardships, facing hunger and uncertainty. Tragically, she suffered a severe brain hemorrhage due to undiagnosed high blood pressure, exacerbated by the disruption of prenatal care services caused by the conflict. Despite the odds, emergency doctors performed life-saving surgery on Aya, conducted hastily on the cold hospital floor due to a lack of sufficient facilities.

She underwent a premature cesarean section, bringing their daughter Julia into the world two months early. However, Aya hasn't been able to hold Julia yet, as she remains in a distant neonatal care unit, separated from her mother's embrace.

Now, Aya's journey to recovery is fraught with challenges. She struggles to walk and speak, and her vision is severely impaired. To make matters worse, dangerous swelling in her head requires urgent medical attention, but the necessary imaging devices are unavailable in local hospitals due to the ongoing crisis. Aya's situation is dire, but there is hope. With your support, we can provide Aya with the specialized medical care she urgently needs. Your donation will fund her travel abroad for essential treatments and diagnostic tests, bringing her one step closer to regaining her health and reuniting with her beloved daughter. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in Aya's life. Let's come together to give Aya the chance she deserves to heal, thrive, and embrace her daughter once again. Your generosity can help rewrite Aya's story from one of struggle to one of triumph over adversity. Securing a safe road for the family outside of Gaza costs 50,000$ in order to get Aya to the proper treatment in Germany.
