To know Augie Roo is to love him, and we certainly love our little guy so much, and know many of you do, too. Though help is the hardest thing to ask for, when it comes to Augie Roo, there's nothing we wouldn't do to keep him healthy and safe. This week our little guy experienced a sudden spinal cord injury, and in a matter of a few hours was paralyzed from the waist down. We've been working with our wonderful vet to help him heal with the aid of medicine, rest, and laser therapy, but he needs more. After a referral to a neurologist, it was determined that he needed surgery to survive.

Augie Roo is a smart, sweet, feisty five year old with a lot of life ahead of him, and we want to do everything we can to make this possible. The surgery is very costly, and along with the diagnostic testing, appointments, prescriptions, and therapies we've already covered, is more than we can afford. We also know that he'll need a little extra care as he heals and rehabilitates. We refuse to let that hold us back from caring for our little guy, and we so know many of you care for him, too, so we're putting our pride aside and asking for assistance. If you are able, without stress or hardship, to contribute to his care, we'd all be so grateful.
