Hope for Apurva:Journey to Recovery from Anoxic Brain Injury

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

Our beloved sister, Apurva Pradhan, has always been a beacon of hope and compassion in our lives. On February 8th, a tragic cardiac arrest in Montreal changed her life forever. This unforeseen event led to an anoxic brain injury, and now Apurva is battling brain atrophy. The vibrant, caring woman who once brought joy and support to so many is now in need of our help.

Apurva’s journey began in 2014, when she moved from India to Canada with great hope and determination to excel in her career. She arrived as an international student, full of dreams and aspirations. Through hard work and perseverance, Apurva not only built a successful career as a client success manager but also became an integral part of her community. She dedicated countless hours to various charities, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Apurva’s heart was as big as her dreams. She was the first to volunteer, the first to offer a shoulder to cry on, and the first to make anyone feel seen and valued. Her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met, and she gave selflessly to make the world a better place. She was not just a sister; she was a friend, a mentor, and a guiding light.

Now, the light in Apurva’s life has dimmed, and she needs our support more than ever. Her condition has left her unable to work, and the financial burden on our family is overwhelming. We are seeking to raise funds for several crucial needs:

Guardianship: To ensure Apurva receives the best possible care, we need to obtain legal guardianship, which costs upwards of $15,000.

Medical Equipment: Apurva will require a specialized wheelchair to aid in her mobility, costing at least $25,000.

Ongoing Support: We also need to cover her apartment expenses in Toronto, ensuring she has a safe and familiar place to return to, and support her beloved pet, Jamie, who has been a source of comfort through these trying times.

Other Unforeseen Expenses: Due to her vulnerable condition , according to the doctors, she may get many infections in the future or may get an attack again, which will add to the expenses we already have.

Apurva was the sole financial support for our family, and without her income, we are struggling to meet these significant expenses. Your generosity can help us provide Apurva with the care and support she desperately needs. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a profound difference in her journey towards recovery.

Imagine the woman who has given so much of herself now lying helpless, her dreams have paused indefinitely. It breaks our hearts to see Apurva, who was always the rock for others, now needing a lifeline. Your support can be that lifeline. Your kindness can bring hope and light back into Apurva’s life.

We invite you to join us in this fight for Apurva’s future. Let’s come together to give back to someone who has given so much to others. Your kindness and support can bring hope and light to Apurva and our family during this difficult time.

With heartfelt gratitude,
