On an early Sunday morning, 12/7/25, Ann Holifield (my grandmother) lost her house, housing structures, and suffered severe damage to vehicles from the cause of fires. She is left with no possessions and not much money at all in the case of losing her home as she is retired and lost her husband of almost 60 years 2 years ago, who worked for income. Since then, she'd make baked goods to have some additional income as a widow, living a simple life that didn't have large expenses.
So, we have started this as a way to help her monetarily so she doesn't have to worry about everyday needs and hopefully we can get her towards new housing in the coming future to stay in for the rest of her life if this isn't handled by the people they are working with. If you are unable to help monetarily, then just think of us in our family's hard times during this holiday season. This is something completely unexpected and even worse during the holiday season, which is her favorite season as she loves to bake for her family as it's her pride and joy.
