My name is Jill Onstot and I'm starting a fundraiser for one of my closest friends.

Anika Gillispie and her partner Dave were suddenly evacuated from their home in Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Oahu, at 1 a.m. on Friday due to severe flooding. In the chaos, they managed to get their beloved dogs to safety, but sadly, they lost nearly all of their belongings. With no family on the island and their home uninhabitable, they are facing a very uncertain time.

Right now, Anika and Dave need help with temporary housing and replacing the essentials they lost in the flood. Every contribution made will go directly to helping them find a safe place to stay and begin rebuilding their lives. Your support will also help them care for their dogs, who mean the world to them.

Anika would never ask for help herself, but as friends, we want to rally around her and Dave in this moment of need.
