my name is Farid Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Latif Kalloub, a 55-year-old father from Gaza, Palestine. I was born in Kuwait and have lived most of my life working hard to raise my six sons with dignity, values, and hope.

But today, I face the most difficult chapter of my life. The war in Gaza has taken away not only safety and peace but also every opportunity to provide for my family. There is no work, no income, and no security. Every day is a struggle for survival — not just for me, but for the innocent children who look up to me with eyes full of need and trust.
