Hello everyone, my name is Liliana, and I am fundraising for my sister Brianna (29 y.o), her fiancé Cecilio (28 y.o), and their two young children Lalo (8 y.o) and Selena (6 y.o).

Cecilio was diagnosed with CML in lymphoid blast crisis in 2021, an aggressive form of leukemia. He has gone through multiple treatments, including CAR T-cell therapy in May and June of this year. He recently completed Total marrow and lymphoid irradiation (TMLI) and is now preparing for a stem cell transplant on November 6th. He has already been in the hospital for over a month.

Because the stem cell transplant requires close monitoring and round the clock support, Brianna will be taking leave from work and staying at the hospital until January, which is about an hour away, to be by his side during recovery. My mom and I will be caring for the kids while both parents are away during this critical time.

Brianna and Cecilio’s time away means increased expenses and there are two young children who deserve stability, warmth, and a joyful holiday season despite everything happening around them.

We are hoping to raise money to help cover:

• Household bills & groceries

• Support for Lalo & Selena during the holidays

• Gas & travel for hospital trips

• Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance

• Other needs during transplant recovery
