The grandma, a sweet and gentle soul, spends her days begging on the streets of Addis just to survive. She lives with her daughter, who is doing her best to make a life for herself but is held back by chronic health issues that make it nearly impossible to work or provide for the family. The grandson, despite graduating, has not been able to find opportunities or connections to help lift his family out of poverty. Together, they live in a single room made of metal sheets and plastic covers, a shelter that is deteriorating by the day and offers little protection or comfort.

The funds raised will be used in several important ways. First, they will help pay the rent for their current shelter, ensuring the family has a safe place to stay. Next, the money will be used to help the family create a source of income, giving them a chance to build a more stable and hopeful future. Finally, the funds will go toward providing the mother with the healthcare and medication she desperately needs to manage her chronic illness.
