My daughter is a vibrant 40-year-old single mother of three beautiful girls, ages 14, 12, and 10. She has always been deeply involved in her daughters’ lives, cheering them on at school and sporting events, and even coaching cheerleading during football season. Recently, our world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with an extremely rare extra skeletal osteosarcoma. This aggressive cancer required her to undergo radiation and a major surgery to remove a tumor from her right shoulder, leaving her with limited use of her arm. Now, she faces the next step in her fight—beginning chemotherapy in January 2026.
The journey ahead is daunting, not just physically and emotionally, but also financially. The Cleveland Clinic, where she receives her treatments, is a two-hour drive from our home. The costs of transportation, medical bills, and daily living expenses are mounting, especially since she is unable to work during this time. As a single parent, she is doing everything she can to provide for her daughters, but things get especially tough around the holidays. Your support will help cover expenses for travel for treatment, to pay essential bills, and ensure her girls are cared for while their mom focuses on healing.
My heart is breaking as I watch my daughter face this rare and uncertain diagnosis. It’s hard to talk about without tears, but I am so grateful for the outpouring of prayers, financial support, and holiday kindness we’ve already received. In these challenging times, it’s a true joy to witness the goodness in humanity. Thank you for considering a donation, sharing our story, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts. Every gesture of support means the world to us.
